People who know me know this about me: I don’t believe in coincidence. I believe things happen exactly when they are meant to, and exactly as they are meant to.

In 2025, the world was graced with “6 – 7” – a slang term that supposedly means absolutely nothing, yet somehow became endlessly hilarious to people everywhere.

But does it really mean nothing?

Today is the first day of 2026. I’ve been away from home for a few weeks because of a family situation. The love of my life is back home, holding things together. Last night, we stayed on the phone until nearly midnight. When the clock struck twelve, we sent our Happy New Year texts and kept talking, easing into the new year together.

At one point, I took a screenshot of my inbox – 67 unread emails—and jokingly texted him, “Starting the year with a 6 – 7.” At the very same moment, he sent me a message that included the words “6 or 7 months.”

Let me say it again: I don’t believe in coincidence. Clearly, the universe wanted my attention.

So what does the number 67 mean?

In numerology, 67 is often associated with new beginnings and new opportunities. It’s a reminder to trust your intuition, follow your heart, and remain positive – even when life feels heavy. It suggests that no matter how challenging things become, improvement is not only possible, but inevitable.

January 1st is a beginning. The first page of twelve new chapters. Three hundred and sixty-five opportunities to create the best story I can – and to trust that everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
